Graphic Design Student at James Madison University

My name is Kailyn Kohler, and I am a graphic designer driven by a passion for blending creativity with problem-solving. Through my studies, I’ve built a strong foundation in design principles, typography, color theory, and industry-standard software, allowing me to explore a range of styles and techniques. I’m continuously growing my portfolio as both a student and a graphic and layout designer for The Reston Letter. I also interned with Thompson Hospitality on the Marketing Team, where I worked across 14 brands and played a key role in designing visual assets for the opening of Makers Union Ashburn. My specialties include black-and-white photography, social media graphics, and layout design, and I’m eager to keep evolving creatively to produce meaningful, innovative work in the ever-changing world of design.
